Ignore the washing line in the corner: this is the new garden.
Actually it looks a bit better here than in real life. That's the pear tree in the corner - a Williams I think. The path has got to go because it's horrible and rubbly, and the border on the left is way too narrow. The border where the pear is is covered in grazel and some rather nasty little azaleas. It's a big area but it needs a total overhaul. That area could end up as veg beds or as a chicken/quail area (not if my partner has anything to do with it).
The grass is the best it'll ever look because I don't care much for lawn maintenance. And maybe it's not very trendy but I rather like the hardy fuschia in the foregruond.
oh, i've been wondering what your new garden looked like, so thanks for the peek.
will you draw out a plan or will you let the garden evolve, changing bits as and when?
I'm in desperate need of some inspiration for my garden. Actually what I'm in need of is some landscapers and pots of money!

Is that a gate on the left or just a fancy spyhole into the neighbours garden? Little Boo will enjoy the lawn in toddlerdom even if it's not your cup of tea.

Look at all that potential. A new garden is very exciting, although quite scary as well. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it!

Ah...the excitement and fear of a new garden. We have been in the process of clearing our of bindweed, dandelions and stones over the past few months and not a day goes by when I don't discover something foolish the previous owners did. My favourite discovery while riddling the site of the new vegetable patch was a toy ferrari buried a spade and half's depth down!

It's not bad but you can do so much with it! It's great fun to get an almost blank canvas like this :)
Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.
