Sorry for the hiatus. As regular readers may remember, I was heavily pregnant last time I posted, and, well, now I am not. My daughter, now three and a bit weeks, has already been introduced to the allotment, and in a few brief moments of "free" time since her birth I've managed to sow some squash seeds and do some weeding (ah, the novelty of being able to bend down again!).
I'll try to recommence regular postings here, but things may be slow for a while yet. What I will do in the next few days is post a couple of Old Bag Project bag reviews, and perhaps a line or two with some pictures from the allotment. Not surprisingly it's a bit ropey-looking at the moment - the recent heavy rain has brought on the weeds a treat - but my other half's efforts at strimming and weeding have halted the slide into total chaos.
I have so many plans for the allotment and this blog ... one thing I'd like to start is a new feature called "shed of the week" ... where I post a pic of a shed that's caught my attention, and you can also send in photos of your favourite sheds. I am off to the plot this afternoon so will try to secure my first shed pic then.
Congratulations!

Congrats - now the fun begins. My little one is coming up to a year, and I still haven't pruned last year's roses...

Belated congratulations! Do you manage to get anything done on the plot, or are your days so busy is it just not possible? Best wishes, She Who Digs
