Later this week I am off to Dorset to visit River Cottage HQ, the - well, HQ, of one of my favourite food writers and self sufficiency gurus, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall.
I am not sure whether I am actually going to get to meet Hugh, but I have been promised a guided tour, so I'll be taking lots of pictures and recording some audio for this blog, with any luck, so stay tuned for that early next week.
But I want your input. I am wondering if you have any questions you'd like the River Cottage team to answer? As I say, I may not be able to put them directly to Hugh (although if I can, I will), but whether it's practical queries about how to grow celeriac or how to deal with a broody hen, or other questions about the mission of River Cottage, Hugh's latest TV show or one of his books, I'll try to get an answer for you.
Just drop me a line in the comments below ...
Why aren't there any substantial recipes for venison in The River Cottage Cookbook - it's tasty meat and if wild or naturally grazed much better than corn fed cattle.

How did it go Jane - what did you think of River Cottage (and Hugh if you met him)

Any ideas for dealing with a broody bantam?
One of my three refuses to budge from the nesting box - I keep lifting her out and shutting the coop door, but this stops the other 2 going in aswell!
As soon as I open the door, she shoots in again - this has been going on for 3 or 4 weeks. Help!
