If you're in the UK and you don't usually buy the Guardian, it might be worth taking a peek this week.
Ok, so I would say that, because I work for the Guardian, or its website at least, but I thought I'd mention it because there's something in it that will be of interest to allotmenteers and gardeners: fruit and veg wallcharts!
There have been a whole series of these, from whales to the night sky, but this week has been more up my street: herbs, apples, and tomatoes all feature: tomorrow is salad greens.
They might be the kind of thing you want to stick to the wall of your potting shed or something. I was disappointed, though, that the Brandywine tomato didn't feature on the tomato chart.
If you have missed any of the wallcharts, you can buy them here, but it's a lot cheaper if you just buy the paper each day.
