Where there's muck, there's an ecologically sound tourist attraction

It's the technology of the restored pineapple pits of the Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall writ large: a plan to turn a Lancashire rubbish dump into a tropical rainforest which would heat itself with decomposing garden and kitchen waste.

It sounds like a wonderful idea: the architects behind the project, Grimshaw, also worked on the Eden Project.
