Now this is handy: a piece from the marvellous You Grow Girl on how to grow your own lemongrass from stems you buy at the market or store. Now lemongrass won't grow outside all year round here in the UK, but will do well in a pot on a sunny windowsill, or so I hear. It's quite expensive to buy, and I never use it all, so this could be a great solution. Plus it reminds me of sprouting carrot tops in a saucer of water as a child. What fun!
