Helen Evans of independent card producer Cardtastic has emailed to tell me about her range of rather lovely allotment-themed cards: and they're 25% off during National Allotments Week. She's a new generation allotmenteer and says her plot in Bristol inspired these cards.

Anyone else know of any other allotment-themed products that fit with the homegrown zeitgeist?

Reasons to be fruitful: number one It's National Allotments Week this week, although I haven't seen any hint publicity on my allotment site about that fact. There's a list of events going on this week, so do check if there's one in your area you can support. Nevertheless, to celebrate I'll be coming up with one good reason every day to become an allotmenteer. Add your reasons in the comments below.
