I had to take a picture of these beautiful beans before I planted them. They look like tiny chocolate sweets. Three cheers to the Heritage Seed Library for supplying them.
I've also planted a French climbing bean called Caseknife - also from the HSL - and a dwarf French variety with yellow pods. We're not big bean eaters in my household so doubtless I'll have plenty of spare to offer around at work. I tend to ask people for a 50p donation to my next Adopt A Veg donation in return, which seems like a reasonable deal to me.

Those are beautiful beans. Me, I'd plant three (to ensure a future supply, and because I always plant way too many beans) and make a necklace from the rest.
