With the weather looking good for Saturday and Sunday, I've been crafting a list of jobs for the weekend:
- Plant pink fir apple potatoes (yes, they've chitted at last!)
- Plant red baron onion sets
- Prepare soil for sowing lettuce, beetroot, kale and cabbage
- Plant shallow terracotta dish with Thyme Doone Valley, marjoram and chives for placing by the front door as an easy-access herb supply
- Sharpen hoe and secateurs
- Repot a rather sad-looking variegated tradescantia in the hope of reviving it
It's an ambitious list, given the other non-gardening stuff I need to get done at the weekend, not least blogging. But spring waits for no woman.
