I was replacing the filter in my cooker hood today and noticed for the first time that it claimed to be biodegradable (yes, my several years of clumsy attempts at learning Italian allowed me to translate "fibra senza cloro" as "fibre without chlorine").
So the question is, do I put this spent filter on my compost heap? As a one meat reducer/one veggie household, it's unlikely to be covered in anything other than vegetable fats, but it still seems a little counter-intuitive to stick it on the heap.
Does biodegradable mean the same as compostable? Answers on a postcard please ...
Very good-looking blog, most impressive. But why mention Waldo's blog. Not brownnosing I hope.

Strangely enough, I actually read and enjoy Simon's blog - that's why it's on my blogroll. Glad to hear you like my blog.
